1. REGISTER DOMAIN NAME

When purchasing your domain name, you will be presented with other services/products. At this time, you only need to purchase your domain name.

IMPORTANT!

Once you have registered your domain name, you will need to point your website to XO/Concentric web hosting server. Here are the steps to make this happen.

Click on My Account. Login in with your username and password. Note: You may already be logged in since you just purchased your domain name.
Once you are logged in, click on Manage Domain or My Domain Names.
Check the box next to your domain name.
Look above at the top menu bar and click on the Nameservers button.

Now you will need to change the Custom Nameservers to:
Nameserver 1: ns1.cnchost.com
Nameserver 2: ns2.cnchost.com
Click OK (located to the far right) to save changes.

Now you are ready to setup your web hosting.

2. SETUP YOUR HOSTING

Web hosting is most important factor to your web site. Why? Because without web hosting your web site will not be visible to on the Internet.

Once you have your web hosting setup, you will need to login to your account and turn on your free secure service. Once you are logged in, click on the Menu Map tab (top of page) and select Account. On the Account Information page, you will see Features, and you will need to select SSL Service. When enabling SSL, select the Yes, from /secure-web toggle button and click Update Settings.

3. UPLOAD WEBSITE

You will need to complete this step in order for others to view your site. This step requires for you to download and unzip the files we sent to you and send your files on your hard drive to the Internet.

Keep all your web pages in one folder on your computer. Don't have anything else in this folder.

Locate your files on your hard drive (to the left) and send them over to the folder (to the right). Before you do this, make sure to open the folder and create a subfolder called images and the necessary subfolders under images. To know which subfolder you need to create, double click on the images folder (to the right).
Now you can upload your .htm pages into the folder and your images into the subfolder. Notice in the picture below that the files on left side (C:\ -- your hard drive) is identical to the files on right side (/web/ -- the Internet). Use the arrow in the middle to send files from left (your hard drive) to right (the Internet).
Once you have uploaded your files to the you will need to do the same step to upload your secure files to the secure-web folder. Double click on the arrow above the images folder to get to the secure-web folder.

4. POINT BOOKING ENGINE SEARCH RESULT PAGES TO SECURE-WEB

Login into your Client Login.
Click on Website Preferences located under Preferences

Click on Site Preference located all the way to the bottom of Website Preferences page.

Now you will need to click on Edit (located to the right at the bottom of the page) to change the Style Sheet Link, Custom footer link, and Custom header link. Replace yourdomainname.com with your website name. See below for sample URLs.

Change the Style Sheet Link to: https://secure.cnchost.com/yourdomainname.com/global.css
Change the Custom footer link to: https://secure.cnchost.com/yourdomainname.com/footer.htm
Change the Custom footer link to: https://secure.cnchost.com/yourdomainname.com/header.htm
